Rayside-Balfour Canadians would like to welcome Darryl Moxam, Dave Clancy, Vagelli Sakellaris, and Barrie Moore to the Canadians.

Moxam will serve as the Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel of the Canadians. Moxam comes to the Canadians after serving as an assistant coach with the Laurentian University Mens Hockey team for the last three years. From 2005 to 2007 he served as the Head Coach of the Sudbury Jr. Wolves leading them to a Dudley Hewitt Cup appearance in 2006 and earning NOJHL Coach of the Year. Many fans in Rayside will also remember Moxam for his on ice performance leading the Sabercats to a NOJHL championship and a birth at their first RBC Cup appearance. That season Moxam was also named CJHL Player of the Year scoring 100 points in 31 games.

Clancy will serve double duty as General Manger and Associate Coach. Clancy like Moxam also was an Assistant Coach with the Laurentian University Men Team. Clancy was former Head Coach of the Sudbury Nickel Barons in their inagural season and was the Head Coach of the Sudbury Jr. Wolves from 2007-2010 and lead the Jr. Wolfpack to Dudley Hewitt Cup appearance in 2008.

Sakellaris will serve as an Assistant Coach with the Canadians. The past two seasons Sakellaris was the Head Coach of the Sudbury Peewee Wolves AAA team the most recently hosted the OHF Championships. Sakellaris also has two OHF Midget AAA Championship as an Assistant Coach with the Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves in 2008 & 2012. He also has been to the Telus Cup twice in 2012 and winning it in 2008 with the Nickel Caps. Like Moxam, Sakellaris is also a former Sabercat.

Moore is a former Sudbury Wolves player from 1991 to 1995. Moore was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in 1993 in the 9th round 220th overall. Moore played in 39 NHL games with Buffalo, Edmonton, and Washington. His playing career lasted from 1995 to 2009. In 1996 he won the Calder Cup with the Rochester Americans.

Remaining on the team staff from last season are NOJHL First Team all-star Trainer Lisa Parise, Equipment Manager Brian Workman, and Assistant General Manager Grant Trayner.
