PETERBOROUGH, ON – The Rayside Canadians are proud to announce they have a second OHL signing in back to back weeks with Chad Denault signing a standard player agreement with the Peterborough Petes.
Denault, was originally selected by the Petes this April in the 3rd round 49th overall, currently second in team (Canadians) scoring with 12 points (six goals, six assists) in 15 games.
General Manager of the Petes Mike Oke commented “Chad is a big, strong power forward who has excelled so far this season at the Tier II level, and we expect that he will play a key role alongside the other exciting young Petes players for several seasons to come.”
Denault said about joining the Petes organization “excited to be moving forward with the Petes. I believe it’s a great opportunity, and I’d like to thank the Petes for this opportunity. There is a lot of history in Peterborough, and I’m looking forward to joining the team.”
Denault will be joining the Petes for the next two weeks.
