Biondi named to CJHL Team East

SUDBURY, ON.- Rayside Balfour Canadians Forward Giordano Biondi has been named to Team East for the 15th Annual Canadian Junior Hockey League Prospects Game.

This game will take place January 14th, 2020 in Hamilton, ON where we will see Team East take on Team west. Biondi is the only player selected from the NOJHL.

“This most recent announcement of being recognized by the CJHL and NHL central scouting is a testament of Gio’s abilities” said Rayside’s GM Jeff Forsyth.

“We are extremely proud of him and honoured to have him put our jersey on. Having a player from the Rayside Balfour Canadians and the NOJHL named to a prestigious group of 40 players identified as top prospects for the 2020 NHL draft is something our organization is elated about”

Biondi was born and raised in Sudbury, ON and currently shares his time between the OHL Sudbury Wolves and the NOJHL Rayside Balfour Canadians. In nine games played with Rayside this season, Biondi has posted four goals and two assists.

Congratulations Giordano!
